What is Gioia Mia Kitchen?

Well, first of all, how is it pronounced?! Gioia is prounounced “joy-ya.” Gioia is the Italian word for Joy.

GM Kitchen is a place to find home cooked dishes that you can make right in your kitchen. The dishes are strongly influenced by where I live in Italy. Plus, my husband is Italian and we are living in Italy.  The dishes we make are usually Italian influenced but they can range anywhere from the middle-east, to Asia, to Latin America, or to the USA. And, just so you know we love Ina Garten and my husband is always wondering what Ina’s husband, Jeffrey, is eating for dinner. He makes me laugh so much.

Kitchen Space

Don’t worry if you have a small kitchen, I live in a city where space is a premium. My kitchen is a cozy is 4 meters by 3 meters!  And, my oven can’t accommodate the American products I brought with me to Italy. Bye bye, turkey oven roasting pan!

My point is, we can cook together no matter you kitchen space. So much fun!
